High-end Reference systems to Rave about

By Lam Seng Fatt

The hi-fi scene in Kuala Lumpur is getting to be quite interesting these days with some really high-end marques making their debut here.

If you consider yourself an audiophile, keep these dates free – May 3-4.

Reference Audio/Rave Systems will be holding a launch event on Level 29 of Gardens Hotel, Mid Valley, Kuala Lumpur.

They have booked two rooms – at Skyview 7 will be a system comprising the TechDAS Air Force One turntable, Genesis G2.2jr speakers, Viola Solo preamp and Bravo amplifier, Gryphon Legato phono stage and Colosseum amplifier, CH Precision C1 DA and D1 SACD Drive, and Weiss MAN301 Server/Network Player.

Skyview 8 will feature Tombo Audio & Mr. Vattana Prasertnasung, and Wilson-Benesch, Viola and Weiss systems.

The launch will be held over two days and will be from 12pm to 9pm.

Reference Audio’s T.K. Han says he will be offering special deals. The launch will have the feel of the big shows like CES and Munich, he added.

Light refreshments will be served. Entrance is free.
