All vinyl fans, take note. The designer of the award-winning turntable with two platters, Louis Desjardins, will be at the Perfect Hi-Fi showroom in Wisma MPL, Kuala Lumpur this Saturday to launch the Kronos tube phono preamp.
Louis will also confirm that Perfect Hi-Fi will be the Kronos master distributor for Malaysia.
The launch event will be held at 2pm on May 19. Light refreshments will be served.
I saw and heard the Kronos at the Munich High-End show last year and was greatly impressed.
Louis told me that it was developed in collaboration with the owner of True Life Audio Velissaries Georgiadis and comes with adjustable EQ.
“Some LPs can sound a bit too bright, maybe because of the pressing, and with my phono stage, you can tone down the balance just a little,” he said.
The tube phono preamp comes with its own power supply. The set looks as impressive as it sounds.
Perfect Hi-Fi will also have the Kronos turntables on display. Kronos products are brought into Malaysia by YL Audio, the newest hi-fi company in town.
