Focal has started a chain of concept stores called ‘Focal Powered by Naim’ worldwide and three have already opened in the Klang Valley in Malaysia.
CMY Audio & Visual, the Malaysian distributor of Focal and Naim products, has opened these concept stores in its main showroom in Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur, and its other showrooms in Starling Mall, Petaling Jaya, and Sunway Pyramid shopping mall, Bandar Sunway.
Boss of CMY Audio & Visual, John Yew, said these stores will feature only Focal and Naim products, including Focal’s range of headphones. In its Sungei Wang store, there is an added attraction — the Naim Statement preamp and monoblocks, which cost a small fortune. This is the second Naim Statement complete system in Malaysia. The first system brought in some years ago was bought by a Naim fan in Malaysia.
The Naim Statement preamp/monoblocks are driving a pair of Focal Maestro Utopia Evo floorstanders from the top-tier Utopia series.
