From Lithuania with love…
The Silent Pound The Challenger speakers were on demo at an awkward corner of the lobby of the entrance area. One side was a glass wall and the other side was open. The corner was specially chosen to demonstrate that the speakers could load the space with sound evenly.

The DALI room
The highlight of my first day at the Penang AV show was the DALI room. Two uber expensive systems were set up and I had a tough time trying to decide which sounded better.
The DALI KORE was driven by the CH Precision L1 Mono Linestage preamp, CH Precision M1.1 mono power amps, CH Precision D1 SACD/CD player, CH Precision C1.2 stereo DAC and CH Precision K1 external power supply. Cables and accessories were from Inakustik, Isotek, Melco and Plixir. This system retails at around RM2.25 million.
The DALI EPIKORE 11 speakers were driven by FM Acoustics FM245 preamp and FM Acoustics FM 411 Mk III power amp with dCS Bartok Apek Network Player as source. Cables and accessories included English Electric 8 network switch, Chord C-Stream digital streaming cable, Chord Powerhaus P6 power distributor and Chord Clearway power cord. This system retails at around RM764,000.
