Two new products from Bryston are now at AV Designs’ showroom in Kuala Lumpur.
They are the Bryston BP-19 preamp, which is positioned just below the new BP-20 preamp, and the Bi-200 integrated amp.
The BP-19 preamp features trickle-down technology from the BP-20 preamp.
From the Bryston website:
The optimized discrete operational amplifier delivers a staggeringly low THD+N measurement at or below 0.0006%. The signal path features a fully balanced design from input-to-output, using an array of very tightly matched components and a compact circuit architecture, achieving the lowest possible noise and superior common mode rejection.
For the first time ever, Bryston is offering the legendary BP-2 moving magnet (MM) phono stage circuit as an onboard option for the BP-19 preamp.Bryston also offers specially designed, custom-made outboard step-up transformers to accommodate low output Moving Coil (MC) cartridge designs.

The Bi-200 integrated amplifier is an interesting and unique component — it is basically the BP-19 preamp coupled with the Bryston 3B Cubed power amp in one chassis. It is a 200 watter (into 8 Ohms) integrated amp and even without listening to it, one can safely state that it should sound good.
