KLIAVS 2024: Glass cones and domes for ‘transparent’ sound

I thought I had seen it all — cones made of paper, hemp, flax, kevlar, carbon fibre, ceramics, aluminium, Egyptian papyrus, Bextrene, polypropylene, fibre-glass; and tweeter domes made of silk, aluminium, titanium, diamond, ceramics.

In Magic Sound Empire’s room, I saw cones and domes made of glass.

They are rated to play from 45Hz to 45KHz. The active version features total power output of 200 watts. Wireless features support lossless streaming, multi-room control and Aptx HD.
