KLIAVS 2024: Strangest tweak ever

Lydeg’s speaker cable enhancer that looks like a robotic spider.

In Lydeg’s room, I saw the strangest hi-fi tweak or accessory that I have ever seen. It looks like a robotic spider but it actually functions as a speaker cable enhancer. It has a strange name too: Riceves RCSC (Radio Connect Speaker Cable).

There are also interconnect enhancers called Oceil RCA, which look like violins.

I asked the person manning the room why the enhancer was like a spider. His reply was: “My boss likes it that way.”

His boss apparently is a Malaysian who studied in England and designed the enhancers.

If an audiophile was unconvinced that the spider or the violin could improve sound, Lydeg set up a demo system which enabled one to hear music with headphones with and without the enhancer in the circuit.

The Lydeg interconnect enhancer shaped like violins.
The demo system.

I heard the demo system and there seemed to be some boost to the music. I am not sure how it works, but it could function like a ‘Loudness’ switch to boost the bass and treble.

Lydeg has the tagline: “Decide. Believe.” So it’s up to you to believe and decide.
